I am a sport social work expert, a Certified Exercise Physiologist, and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant with 26 years of experience working alongside women reconnecting with their bodies after pregnancy or cancer, and with athletes from youth sport through Olympic and professional levels. I am on the USOPC Mental Performance Registry and currently completing my supervision for licensure in social work. When I am not with you, I teach sport and exercise psychology and personal health and wellness to undergraduates at Clayton State University.
I help new and seasoned athletes as well as high performers from artists to C-suite executives manage stress, burnout, anxiety, identity and career transitions, (injury) recovery, and the everyday mental load of competing and performing with balance and compassion. I blend mindfulness and exercise psychology with clinical social work, because I believe care is not just about mindset: it is about the whole person, body and mind together.
I also train other mental performance professionals, but when we are in the room together, my focus is simple: practical, evidence-based support that helps you perform and feel like you can build your own path to happiness and success and be yourself! And yes, I am unapologetically carrying that French accent despite calling Georgia home for the last 27 years!
I have joined SIS Counseling to support me while I am getting supervision for my clinical license in social work.
My rate is $200 for an initial 65-minute session and $175 for the following 50-minute sessions. I am also able to do sliding scale. Please email me to discuss.
